Harvest Manitoba says its proposed Food Transformation Centre could help get more and better-quality food into Northern Manitoba.

President and CEO Vince Barletta says Harvest already has a major presence in Thompson and communities across the North.

Barletta says a larger facility would allow Harvest to move more food and improve the quality and reliability of shipments heading north.
