RCMP have announced 21 new charges against 11 people as part of Project Derry, an investigation into an alleged criminal organization operating in Bunibonibee Cree Nation.
Among those charged is 34-year-old Luke Grieves of Thompson. He faces charges including conspiracy to traffic firearms and reckless discharge of a firearm.
Police say the investigation involved drug trafficking and three shootings targeting homes in June last year.
In total, 35 people have been charged through the operation, and 10 have been convicted.
RCMP say the investigation continues.
