It’s only a few more days until the Northern Manitoba Blizzard play their next two games in Norway House and Cross Lake.

Their “Impact Tour” kicked off a few days ago, and the team has been keeping themselves busy since then. Just recently, the team visited Jack River School in Norway House to interact and play with the kids there.

Those interested in keeping up with the Blizz and what they’re getting up to this week can do so by following the team on social media.

Northern Manitoba is set to take on the Winnipeg Blues in back-to-back games this Friday and Saturday. As of right now, the Blizz are in a three-way tie for third place in the MGEU West Division with both Swan Valley and Dauphin.

The Blues, meanwhile, are seventh in the East Division and have the fewest points of any team in the MJHL.

Puck drop for Friday’s contest is set for 7:00 p.m., while Saturday’s game will kick off earlier at 2:00 p.m. 102.9 CJAR will be broadcasting all the action live, with Tyler Cyr on the call.
