OCN Storm Set Sights on Central Canada Cup in Saskatoon

There’s no rest for the weary, especially for the back-to-back KJHL champions. The OCN Storm are off to Saskatoon today for this year’s Central Canada Cup, a competition that brings together the top Junior B teams in a best-on-best tournament.

The Storm took home the coveted Junior B trophy back in 2023 when they defeated the Schreiber Falcons 6–3 in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Their first game will be against the Current River Storm, with puck drop set for 2:00 p.m tomorrow. The contest will take place at Rod Hamm Arena.

The full tournament schedule can be found on the team’s official Facebook page. A reminder as well that games will be broadcast live on the page.

The Storm are also inviting all fans to help send off the KJHL squad today at 12:30 p.m. at the GLMC parking lot.
Don’t forget that the Storm also have their radio bingo happening tonight. You can pick up bingo cards at the Bingo Hut in the Otineka Mall.
