The Norman Northstars have ended 2015 with two more losses.

On Saturday the visiting Parkland Rangers got by the Northstars 7-5. The Rangers beat the Northstars again on Sunday, 8-2.

Next game for the Northstars will be next year, January 9 at home.

The Norman Northstars host the Parkland Rangers this weekend.

The two teams face off Saturday at 7:30. We’ll be broadcasting the game live on 102.9 CHTM. The teams will play again on Sunday at 1:30.

It’s the last games for the Northstars before the New Year.

The Norman Northstars couldn’t get a win against one of the best teams in the league.

On Saturday the Northstars got only one goal, giving the Winnipeg Wild an 8-1 win.

On Saturday the Northstars gave more of a fight, but still lost 8-5.  

The Norman Northstars host one of the league’s best teams this weekend.

The Winnipeg Wild are currently second in the standings with 38 points. The Northstars are last with 8.

The two teams face off tomorrow at 7:30. 102.9 CHTM will be broadcasting the game live.

The teams will play again on Sunday at 1:30.

The Norman Northstars had a couple of close games over the weekend, but none that led to wins.

On Friday the Brandon Wheatkings got by the Northstars 3-2 in overtime. The Yellowhead Chiefs defeated the Northstars 6-4 on Saturday, and on Sunday the Parkland Rangers doubled up on the Northstars 6-3.

Next game for the Northstars is next weekend, when host they  Winnipeg Wild for games on Saturday and Sunday.

The Norman Northstars have a busy weekend on the road ahead of them.

Tonight they’re in Brandon, facing the Wheatkings, tomorrow they play the Yellowhead Chiefs in Shoal Lake, and their road trip wraps up on Sunday in Dauphin when they go head to head against the Parkland Rangers.  

The Northstars are currently 3-19 in the season.
